Made from honey finished oak, paired with red oxide mild steel base. These prototypes were to test the idea of a weighted plate base for shelving. Using standard sized components makes it relatively affordable to make.

The platform works well, and it’s something that can do a lot more. Potentially some taller bookshelves or wider low consoles.
